In an effort to highlight SunTrust Bank’s focus on the financial well-being of clients and raise the profile of certain bank leaders, Cookerly coordinated multiple appearances for executives on Atlanta & Company, a morning show aired on Atlanta’s NBC affiliate. SunTrust spokespeople offered tips on how to help your child succeed financially as they transition to college; unique retirement planning challenges for women; and financial planning for individuals with special needs, and more.

CTCACancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA)

Cookerly provides comprehensive marketing communications and media relations program to raise awareness and build name recognition of CTCA in the Southeastern U.S. To celebrate the first anniversary of CTCA at Southeastern Regional Medical Center just outside Atlanta, Cookerly secured stories in media outlets across the Southeast about cancer survivors that received treatment at CTCA. Newspapers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia have featured profiles of local citizens sharing compelling personal stories about their battles with cancer and the help they received from CTCA.

GEMA-OHSGeorgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA)

Cookerly has been working with GEMA since 2007, when it oversaw the launch of the Ready Georgia campaign to motivate Georgia residents to prepare for disasters. The latest of Cookerly’s successful Ready Georgia promotions was a partnership with Verizon Wireless during National Preparedness Month (September) 2013 that provided tips for staying connected during emergency situations. The multi-faceted campaign included a PSA with an Atlanta Falcons player, discounts on phone accessories that can be used during emergencies, promotions on useful preparedness apps, and a media blitz that generated hits across the country, including the Wall Street Journal’s website, Bloomberg.com, and most major print and broadcast outlets across Georgia.

CACClean Air Campaign

Since 2000, Cookerly has worked closely with The Clean Air Campaign to improve traffic congestion and air quality by changing driving behavior in metro Atlanta. Through a comprehensive marketing program that includes media relations, social media and employer and commuter outreach, Cookerly helps to educate employers, commuters and school communities about changing behavior and supporting programs that reduce more than 1.4 million miles of vehicle travel and keep 700 tons of pollution out of our air each day.

When the Clean Air Campaign, Atlanta Regional Commission, Georgia Department of Transportation and local transportation management associations were ready to announce Georgia Commute Options, a new program designed to introduce bundled commute options services to commuters and employers, Cookerly provided the media strategy and messaging.  Launched through a combination of media outreach and social media, messaging promoted the region’s alternate commute resources and incentive programs.

Redefining a popular Atlanta icon is no easy task, but with laser-focused media outreach, expert spokesperson training, social channel consulting and event coordination, Cookerly is promoting the renewal of The Westin Peachtree Plaza and its signature restaurant, The Sun Dial. Two distinct audiences – business and leisure – were targeted with placements announcing the hotel’s multi-phase renovation plans in meeting trade publications and on Atlanta news broadcasts. The Sun Dial Restaurant reopened with a completely transformed space and menu, and a chef fully committed to seasonal, local cuisine. Profiles on the Chef and photo galleries of the restaurant across a wide swath of local and regional media outlets ensured a successful culinary rebirth.

Cookerly provides strategic media and public relations counsel to build name recognition and position company leaders as experts in the business consulting industry. Cookerly has secured more than 60 stories in high-profile news, business and healthcare publications featuring experts from Warbird Consulting Partners’ Healthcare CFO Network. The agency has cultivated relationships with key trade reporters, monitored news and healthcare trends to pitch timely and relevant story ideas. Cookerly created and implemented a full marketing campaign for the Women’s National Basketball Association’s (WNBA) Atlanta Dream that consists of media outreach, providing social media strategy, securing speaking opportunities and helping deliver sponsorships. When the Dream hired Sara Ryan, wife of Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, Cookerly capitalized on her name recognition to build awareness for the WNBA franchise, securing placements on ESPN, Fox Sports South, Good Day Atlanta, and many other regional and local outlets.
