Cookerly "Dawg" Returns to Alma Mater
(ATLANTA – March 26, 2009) Cookerly Public Relations senior vice president, Chip Stewart, took a walk down memory lane this month, speaking at his alma mater for the University of Georgia's Public Relations Student Society of America's meeting.
Chip discussed a client near and dear to his heart (and students' daily lives) – the University of Georgia Foundation.
"The memories I have from my days in Athens are nothing but the best ... I’m proud to have one son at the university now and another headed there in the fall, so any chance I have to visit the campus and spend time with students is really special," said Stewart. "It was interesting to see how curriculum at Grady College has changed. I would never have imagined as an undergrad that students would one day be blogging and Tweeting about my visit – in fact, when I was a student the word 'blogging' didn’t exist and 'tweeting' was something only a bird did!"
