Cookerly Public Relations Welcomes New Assistant Account Executive to Team

Former editor Chris Glazier joins Cookerly's professional staff

(ATLANTA – January 7, 2011) Cookerly Public Relations, a leading Atlanta-based public relations and marketing communications agency, welcomes assistant account executive Chris Glazier to its team.

Leveraging his years of journalism experience, he will provide writing, media relations support and social media services to clients across the spectrum – from government to nonprofit; energy to transportation.

“Chris impressed all of us with his skills, initiative and dedication during an internship at Cookerly, so we were really pleased to be able to bring him on full-time,” said Candace McCaffery, SVP, director of social media and interactive services for Cookerly Public Relations. “Even as the range of public relations services expands, the core skills of good writing and keen understanding of media relations are of primary importance, making his journalism background a great asset to the firm and our clients.”

Prior to joining Cookerly, Glazier worked as an editor for Strang Communications, where he managed editorial content and direction for various print and online publications, including several national magazines. He has also worked as a freelance reporter and blogger.

He graduated from the University of Florida in 2006 with a degree in journalism. During his time in school, he worked as a reporter for the Gainesville Sun.
